Sara Collette’s veteran Wahoo, with Jacob Roberts up, won the $2,000 the VHBPA Virginia-bred/Sired Flat race at the Warrenton Hunt Point-To-Point on Saturday.
More Tea Vicar and Darren Nagle set the pace with Wahoo in a stalking position for trainer Neil R. Morris. With less than a quarter mile to run, Wahoo came to More Tea Vicar and proved best in the stretch.

Daybreak Stables Wolverton (Paddy Young, Jimmy Day) was third and Colleen Mahoney’s Colleen’s Charm (Bruce Daley, A. Timothy White) was fourth.
The five-year-old Wahoo is by Prized, out of Nes by Waquoit and was bred by Collette in Virginia.
