VIRGINIA SYNDICATE FEATURED IN WASHINGTON POST

Back in the early spring we learned about a new racing syndicate which was having some luck running a mare named Over The Lea. She won two of the Virginia H.B.P.A. sponsored Virginia-bred races at the spring point-to-points at Warrenton and Piedmont.
The mare’s owners, Upperville Racing LLC, is a racing partnership created in January of 2010, according to general manager Karl Nobert. According to Norbert what started out with “a great little filly in September with a friend from work, has now grown into an expanded partnership of three horses and multiple partners.”
Things have expanded since then with the help of Craig’s List, and earlier this week the Washington Post ran a feature story on the group.
