Current owners Mr. and Mrs. William K. Warren purchased the son of Medaglia d’Oro at Keeneland September in 2011, forking over $470,000 for the good-looking Lane’s End graduate. Mail broke his maiden at Monmouth in August, returned for a second-placed effort at Belmont in the fall, before scoring again at the allowance level on November 29 at Aqueduct. He returned here to best five foes in 1.44 4/5 for the final time.
