Just a short time after a Virginia-bred two-year-old sold at Ocala for $1.8 million, three more juveniles from the Commonwealth brought high bids at the recent Fasig-Tipton The Florida Sales held at Palm Meadows Training Center.

Pug and Susie Hart of Hart Farm in Boyce, VA bred a Malibu Moon filly they sold at Keeneland September last year to Nick de Meric for $160,000.  The filly is out of the stakes winning mare Miz United States who is also the dam of graded stakes placed Ameribelle.  De Meric sold the filly at Pam Meadows for $625,000 to Stonestreet Stables.

The Evans dispersal included at Pulpit colt out of multiple stakes winner and graded stakies placed Spritely by Touch Gold which sold at Keeneland November for $60,000 to K.M.C.F. Stable.  The colts was resold to Maverick Racing by Nial Brennan Stables, Agent for $560,000.

The Harts also bred and sold a colt by Exchange Rate, out of Bubbly Baily by Dixie Union, as a weanling.  He was resold as a yearling for $125,000 before selling at Palm Meadows for $375,000 to Green Hills Farm.
