Celtic Venture Stables’ Rockmani completed her dance card already boasting two thirds and a second in the Virginia Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association’s Virginia Bred/Sired Flat Series with a win at the Loudoun Hunt Point-To-Point at Oatlands on Sunday.

The now seven-year-old mare by Rock Point, out of Miss Naamani by Shaarid (GB) had previously finished third at Blue Ridge to Forest Bell and Love Colony, second at Piedmont to Forest Bell and third again most recently at Old Dominion to Daytime and Snow Buster.
This time Rockmani stayed close to pacesetter and eventual runner-up Hey Doctor and went to the front as the field raced through the stretch the first time. She maintained a clear advantage from there and won going away by 2 ½ lengths.
Rockmani was bred in Virginia by The Horseshoe Ltd.
Complete Order of Finish: 1) Rockmani (Celtic Venture Stable owner, Paddy Young rider, Charles J. McCann trainer) $1,200; 2) Hey Doctor (Mary Fleming Finlay, Bruce Daley, Mrs. D. M. Smithwick) $400 and 3) Ditch (Mary Fleming Finlay, Jeff Murphy, Mrs. D. M. Smithwick)  $220.
