The Colonial Downs meet is only two days old but apprentice jockey “Sunny” Sarah Rook already has three wins on the meet.  Find out more about the early meet standout on “Off to the Races” when she is our guest on Jockey Jive. 

“Off to the Races” is broadcast on WXGI, AM 950 in Richmond and over the worldwide web on  The Saturday morning radio show airs at 11:05 am and is hosted by Nick Hahn and “Derby” Bill Watson.

Also on “Off to the Races” we’ll have handicapping with Mike Dempsey of Turf-N including picks on Belmont Stakes day racing action.  Gio Ponti bids in the Manhattan and Virginia-bred Her Smile drew the rail in the Grade 1 Acorn (Belmont-Race 6) for three year old fillies.  Her Smile is bred by William Backer, sired by Include out of Hepburn.
