Virginia-bred Roseville Run, who is no stranger to the VHBPA Virginia-bred/sired race series, added another win to his resume when he captured the $2,000 Leeds Manor at the Old Dominion Point-to-Point on last Saturday.

Owned by his breeder Dr. Eric J. Myer, trained by Stephen Pollard and ridden by Ben Garner, the five-year-old Run Softly gelding Roseville Run set the pace and won easily. Expel rallied for second but could not seriously threaten the winner.

Roseville Run, who is out of Rustic Rose, by Linkage, covered the 1 ¼ miles in 2:18 while winning by 2 ½ lengths over the turf labeled “good.”
