TWIST OF FATE. Team Valor International’s Unbridled Belle outclassed six opponents as she rolled to an 11-length romp in the $125,700 Obeah Stakes Gr.3 on Saturday at Delaware Park.

Obeah was bred by Jane DuPont Lunger of Christiana Stables. Lunger was the sister of Alice DuPont Mills of Hickory Tree Farm fame. Obeah won the Delaware Handicap twice and produced four stakes winners including the brilliant but ill-fated Go For Wand.

Ironically and sadly, All Smiles was vanned off after breaking down in the stretch in a manner all too reminiscent of Go For Wand’s demise.
