1ST HALF TRAINER: Michael Pino – It was good to see him here Colonial Turf Cup day. His 10 wins among 23 starters is even better than Camacho’s percentage, 4th in total wins behind Ham Smith. Honorable mention to Pablo Andrade who is 3 for 3.

1ST HALF HORSE: Miss Oil – There are 10 horses that are repeat winners here. Miss Oil was named for the veterinarian of Secretariat and dear friend of trainer Mary O’Brien who had tears in her eyes as she watched the her win the 1st time. Can’t imagine her reaction with the second win.
