Lazy Lane-bred Centrique Two-for-Two
Lazy Lane-bred Centrique is now two-for-two after winning an allowance race at Gulfstream on January 29. The Malibu Moon 5-year-old won the Starter Stakes at Gulfstream in December before lodging a 2 1/4-length victory in the mile allowance race.
Centrique has been a reliable performer for current connections Miller Racing and Marty Wolfson, accounting for 10 wins, six seconds and four thirds out of 30 lifetime starts – a 66 percent in-the-money strike rate and enough to put him in the Top 100 by wins in 2012.
An earner of over $350,000, Centrique is out of the Sky Classic mare Penny Marie.
