Irv Naylor’s Decoy Daddy Wins Third Noel Laing

Irv Naylor’s evergreen Decoy Daddy won his third Noel Laing Handicap in four years at Saturday’s Montpelier Hunt Races. Trained by Cyril Murphy and ridden by Carol-Ann Sloan, Decoy Daddy carried highweight of 156 pounds and set the pace for the majority of the running, according to a news post on the National Steeplechase Association’s website.

Decoy Daddy is a dual graded stakes winner this year, winning the Grade III Temple Gwathmey Hurdle at Middleburg in April and the Grade III National Hunt Cup Stakes at Malvern in May.
