Foyle Wins International Gold Cup

Longshot Foyle won the International Gold Cup Timber Stakes, closing to snare a length victory – and earn his backers a $25.20 win ticket. Trained by Bruce Fenwick, owned by Merriefield Farm and bred by Mrs. C. Frank Hopkins, the 8-year-old Maryland-bred broke his maiden last year and won an allowance race at Grand National in April of this year.

Congratulations to all connections!
