DAYTIME WINS VHBPA FLAT AT OLD DOMINION

James H. Falk, Sr.’s Daytime, ridden by Jeff Murphy, led from start to finish and impressively won the $2,000 VHBPA Leeds Manor for Virginia-bred and/or Virginia-sired horses on Saturday at the Old Dominion Hounds Point-to-Point.  The four-year-old by Seeking Daylight, out of Maria’s Crown by Maria’s Mon is trained by Simon Hobson.

John McCormack’s Snowbuster was second beaten just two lengths and Celtic Venture Stable’s Rockmani was third.

Naylor, Brianne Slater) $100; 5) Tipastaire (Eilidh Grant, Rosney Stable LLC, Catherine Stimpson) $80 and 6) Wild Ball (Roddy Mackenzie, Randy Rouse, Randy Rouse).
